The Department of Applied Sciences is entrusted with the responsibility of helping the diploma-seekers adapt to the rigorous schedule of technical education programmes in their initial stage. The highly qualified and talented faculty of the department makes constant endeavors to hone the soft skills and life skills of the students in order to ensure the holistic development of their personality. Great emphasis is also laid in the first two semesters on the reading, writing and listening skills of the students so as to make them competent and confident in the professional sphere. The department has very well-equipped and well-maintained Physics and Chemistry Labs, where the students perform practicals based upon the fundamentals they learn in the theory class under the proper care and guidance of distinguished faculty.
